Paper Door "Wreath" Tutorial

If you are like me, and enjoy changing the decor of your home with each and every season, then these quick and easy Paper Door Wreaths are perfect for you!  They don't take much time at all and are actually quite easy.  I have had a few people ask for a tutorial so I finally put one together.  Plus, one of my goals for the New Year is to blog more often (therefore I revamped my blog design and will actually post regularly..it's been WAY to long).  Anyways, back to the tutorial!

What you will need:
Scissors
Patterned cardstock
Stapler and staples
Embellishments
ribbon

1.  Cut 20 pieces of cardstock into 8x4 strips. I use 5 different designs, but you can use any combination you would like. 

2.  Pinch each strip at the bottom and staple.


3.  Once you have 5 individual strips stapled at the bottom, connect all five by stapling at the bottom.


4.  Staple twice up the edges to secure all the way up.  You should now have a "fan" with 5 strips.


5.  Do steps 2-4 with the remaining strips.  You should have 4 sets of 5 "fans" total.

 6.  Now connect the "fans" together the same way you connected each individual strip.

7.  The front of the  "wreath" will look pretty unfinished in the center.  Use your creativity here to cover up the center section!
